Milara - the versatile mini cargo bike.
The old 20-inch folding bike gets the job done, weaving reliably through stop-and-go city traffic. The backpack, a constant companion, raises questions about practicality. A front rack seems like the solution, but somehow it never quite fits. It's a compromise – but the kind that sparks inspiration.A few months later, the idea takes shape. A compact cargo bike is born.
Its bamboo frame is stiff and agile, a sporty geometry that quickly earns it a place in daily life – retiring the old folding bike into semi-active duty. The front rack is now bolted directly onto the frame and delivers on its promise. And then some.
It’s a cargo bike. But more than that – it’s fun.
Two like-minded individuals come together, combine skills, and push the design step by step toward production. Bamboo makes way for steel as the material of choice. The vision grows.
As a photographer and filmmaker, I’ve been part of this journey from the beginning – capturing the evolution of an idea into a brand. Every step, every prototype, every ride. This is not just storytelling. It’s brand-building through images.
